MEMO uses Google Analytics, a service of Google, Inc. (Google) for web analytics. Through the use of Google Analytics, “cookies” are stored on the user’s computer, which enable an analysis of website usage. The information generated about the use of this website (including the IP addresses of website visitors) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses this information to analyse website usage, such as conducting anonymous evaluations and producing graphics pertaining to page views and visits. The data is used exclusively for the optimisation of the MEMO site. We would like to point out that data transmission via Internet (e.g. e-mail communication) may be liable to gaps in security. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.
